Elliot Kushner received his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles majoring in Political Science. He is a member of The Phi Beta Kappa Society.
After receiving his Juris Doctor from Loyola University of Los Angeles School of Law, Mr. Kushner was admitted to practice in California and was also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California.
Mr. Kushner was previously engaged in general civil practice, including workers’ compensation, personal injury, real property, business litigation and commercial practice from 1975 to 1991. One of the highlights of this period of his career was his participation in the litigation of an appeal before the United States Supreme Court which resulted in a reported decision.
Prior to joining Altman, Lunche & Blitstein, Mr. Kushner was associated with Clopton, Penny & Brenner for 10 years handling both defense workers’ compensation matters and subrogation litigation.
